December 8-14

Doing a little catch up with posts here.  :)  Cooper had his 6 month check up this week!  I can't believe how fast time flies.  He was 17.10 lbs and 27 inches long.  So many new things for our big boy:

1. Cooper is eating food!  So far he has tried rice cereal, barley, oatmeal, banana, avocado, green beans, apples, and sweet pototoes.  I am learning how to make my own baby food (it is really easy) and enjoying it a lot.  I feel so domestic.  :)

2. He is sitting up all by himself!  I usually put a few pillows behind him just in case, but he loves to sit there and play with his toys.  He always loves to stand with our help.  No steps or crawling yet, but we know it's not far behind.

3. He is starting to sleep longer at night.  We still are not consistant with this yet, but know it will come in time.

4. He is about to outgrow is infant car seat and move to a larger rear facing seat.  His infant carrier only goes up to 19 pounds, so in about a month or so, we will say goodbye.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the early Christmas present!  :)

5. He loves to laugh and play!  I love staying home with him and playing and teaching him new things.  It is an amazing experience that I am so thankful for.  Thank you Steve, for working so hard so that I can stay home with our baby boy!

Happy boy!

Playing in the exersaucer!

The boys!

"Sleep in heavenly peace . . ."

". . . Sleep in Heavenly peace."

All smiles in his Christmas PJs!
