Goodbye First Trimester, Hello Second!

Wow! Has it really been a whole month since my last post!? Time is flying by and I have a lot to update you on.

We are moved into the new house and LOVING it!! It is amazing how much it already feels like home. All the rooms we are living in are unpacked - the kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathrooms. The guest room is storage until I can muster up enough energy to go through the tons of boxes left in there. My goal is to have it cleaned up by the end of Christmas break. I lofty goal, I know, but I think I can get it accomplished.

On the baby side of things, I am feeling amazing! First trimester morning sickness is long gone, and my love for food has returned just in time to enjoy Christmas' delicious treats! I am sure gaining back the 9 pounds I lost will not be problem in the slightest. :) I have so much more energy at home and at work, and I think I am more pleasant to live with as well. I was cranky to several people during that time and I apologize - Steve, Shannon, Mom. Shelley, Kayce, Jackie and more. I hope they know I still love them and it was just the hormones talking.

I have had one appointment since my last update. It was just the routine blood pressure, weight, heart tones, etc, but my next appointment should be the exciting one! We have our second ultrasound on January 5th and will try to find out if it a boy or girl. Recently, a pregnant friend of mine told me that at her appointment, the baby wouldn't move so that they could see what it is, so hopefully we will have a little more luck! I love surprises, so I won't be disappointed, but I can't speak for Steve (he really wants to know).
