Nuestra Familia - Our Family

Hello again friends and family! It has been a while since I last updated, and we have a lot of news! Here goes . . .

1. I went to my second appointment and saw the doctor. It was absolutely amazing to see the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. In that moment, I wondered how anyone could doubt the existence of God and his great works. It was a truly humbling experience. The doctor said that the heartbeat was strong, and that everything looked great. My due date is set for June 1, 2010. I liked this appointment much better than the first. That is saying a lot, considering Steve and Dr. Niemoth talked me into a seasonal flu shot. :) My next appointment is set for December 8, although it won't be near as exciting.

2. Also, I have been feeling much less nauseous. I am hoping that my appetite will come back soon. I just haven't been very hungry lately. The doctor thinks that it will come back in the next few weeks or so. I am feeling much more like myself and I am in much better spirits. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. :)

3. We are officially homeowners! I still can't believe things went so fast! We are working on painting, cleaning, and putting in new carpet. We are so blessed to have friends and family to help us. There is no way we could get it done without them. :) I will post pictures of the house soon. I can't wait to move everything in and see it all put together!!
